Shimla, July 6: Himachal Pradesh Governor Shri Kavinder Gupta formally launched *Outlook Bharat, a *national news platform, at Raj Bhavan, Shimla, in the presence of its editorial leadership and media team.
The launch ceremony was attended by *Managing Director Hitesh Mahajan, Editor-in-Chief Tarika Mahajan, *Executive Editor Siddarth Radotra, along with members of the editorial and technical team.
Congratulating the Outlook Bharat team, Governor Shri Kavinder Gupta extended his best wishes and said that responsible journalism is one of the strongest pillars of democracy. He emphasized that in today’s fast-evolving media landscape, news organizations must remain committed to truth, accuracy, impartiality and ethical reporting while serving the public with credible information.
Expressing confidence in the initiative, the Governor said Outlook Bharat has the potential to emerge as a trusted national news platform, connecting people across the country through factual, balanced and responsible journalism while contributing positively to informed public discourse and nation-building.
Managing Director Hitesh Mahajan expressed gratitude to Governor Kavinder Gupta for inaugurating the platform and for his encouragement and blessings.
“Outlook Bharat has been launched with the vision of becoming a credible national news platform that delivers timely, factual and people-centric journalism. Editor-in-Chief Tarika said the platform will focus on authentic reporting, in-depth analysis and responsible journalism, ensuring every story is presented with fairness, accuracy and credibility.
Executive Editor Siddarth Radotra said the launch marks the beginning of a new chapter for Outlook Bharat, with the team committed to delivering reliable, impactful and public-interest journalism to audiences across the country.
